School-based Spanish-bilingual Services
Alexandra Novoa, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a dedicated sole provider specializing in delivering high-quality speech and language services within the school setting.
Hi! I'm Alexandra, but please call me Alex.
I founded CogniLingüe to offer communication support that is responsive, relationship-centered, and grounded in best practices. I approach each case with curiosity and care, tailoring services to the unique needs and cultural backgrounds of those I serve. As a solo provider—not a large agency—I bring both passion and consistency to every aspect of my work. Each session, IEP meeting, and evaluation is guided by a genuine commitment to meaningful, lasting growth.

Services
I provide speech and language therapy, evaluations, and ARD meeting participation, with a focus on delivering personalized, evidence-based support that fosters meaningful communication across school settings.

Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
I conduct thorough, culturally responsive FIEs with a focus on accurately distinguishing language difference from disorder in bilingual and multilingual students. I prioritize collaboration with educators and evaluation teams to ensure each assessment reflects the student’s full linguistic and academic profile.

Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and speech therapy
I develop IEPs that are individualized, functional, and culturally responsive, with goals that reflect the student’s communication needs in both academic and social contexts. I collaborate closely with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure each plan is meaningful, realistic, and team-aligned. I participate in meaningful and connected service delivery.

Admit Review Dismiss process (ARDs) and record keeping
I participate in ARD meetings with a solutions-focused, student-centered mindset, ensuring that speech and language input is clearly communicated and ethically aligned. My record keeping is timely, organized, and compliant with all required documentation standards.
